About Us: Nutrition Health & Wellbeing is a leading provider of nutrition and dietetic services, dedicated to enhancing the health and wellbeing of individuals and families in Victoria. At Nutrition Health and Wellbeing, we engage with numerous clients who are presently receiving psychological support. Our dietitians at our West Brunswick clinic hold NEDC Accreditation and work extensively with individuals experiencing Eating Disorders and disordered eating patterns. Therefore, we believe it would be advantageous to foster collaborative efforts with psychologists to help support clients who require pyschological services.
We are now expanding our services to include a team of allied health to work in our standalone clinic in Brunswick West. Job Type: Independent Contractor
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical psychological services to clients with a special interest in eating disorders and disordered eating
- Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and develop individualised treatment plans.
- Work collaboratively with our team of dietitians to provide a holistic approach to care in the area of eating disorders.
- Provide evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other modalities as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
- Adhere to professional code of ethics and standards of practice set forth by the Australian Psychological Society (APS)
- Assist with marketing activities.
- Attend team meetings as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the Australian Psychological Society (APS)
- Full registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Experience working with clients with eating disorders is highly desirable.
- Strong empathy, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) guidelines
- Experience working in a diverse population
