Clinical Services Co-ordinator

Salary: Attractive salary package negotiable based on qualifications and experience, includes annual salary, employer’s contribution to superannuation, and annual leave loading. A $16,000 per annum tax-free component is included.
About Us: Abcare is a not-for-profit community-based Aboriginal organisation incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act, 1984 (NSW). We are primarily funded by the NSW Community Services and Australian Government, dedicated to providing high-quality Clinical Services and support to the Aboriginal community.
Position Overview: The Clinical Services Co-ordinator will be responsible for the coordination and improvement of the Clinical Services team, supporting the implementation of therapeutic programs for Aboriginal clients. This position includes managing the day-to-day operations of the psychology practice and research centre within Abcare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide practical assistance and support for clinical team staff to meet reporting responsibilities and complete relevant paperwork.
- Co-ordinate the delivery of high-quality psychological services to clients.
- Maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and external community organisations.
- Ensure compliance with Abcare policies and procedures, including Workplace Health & Safety and ethical practice.
- Participate in relevant conferences and training to maintain necessary skills and knowledge.
- Other duties as directed by the Director of Research and Clinical Lead.
Selection Criteria:
Essential:
- Computer skills and ability to provide accurate reports
- Experience and/or relevant training in management or service coordination
- Experience maintaining notes and meeting minutes
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Understanding of Workplace Health & Safety
- Understanding of Office of Children’s Guardian
Desirable:
- Aboriginality (documented)
- Experience in working in or with an Aboriginal organisation
- Experience in the out-of-home care sector
- Experience working with mental health clinicians or relevant qualifications
