The Barmera Monash Football Club T/A Barmera Club has an opportunity for a highly motivated person to be responsible for the management of our licensed venue overlooking Lake Bonney.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Answering to the Board this full-time position will undertake the following as a minimum:
• Manage all aspects of the Club including dining, bar, gaming and functions.
• Develop and promote new initiatives.
• Develop, monitor and report on finances including budgets and other key
performance indicators.
• Develop and manage operating policies and procedures in line with government, industry and community expectations.
• Support the Board, Operations Manager and Head Chef to develop and mentor all staff.
• Assist with Football Operations as may be required.
• Salary package is negotiable based on experience. Position description available upon request.
Ideally you will bring previous experience in a similar role and possess the following attributes:
• Strong communication skills.
• Understanding of financials and financial reporting required for the Board.
• A good understanding of H&L POS software.
• Leadership skills and the ability to inspire the best from your team.
• Motivated and creative, with a desire to market and grow the business.
• Understand current trends in hospitality.
• Ability to work weekends and nights as required.
• A current RSA, RSG, RP and gaming managers license.
• A background in all aspects of kitchen management would be highly beneficial.
