About the role
We are currently seeking a Commercial Administrator for our Rail Operations hub in Brisbane, QLD. This role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.
Key responsibilities
- Raise material and plant orders and process goods received notes
- Monitor held invoices, incorrect accruals and costs, review cost reports and journal costs across projects
- Monitor and follow up on weekly timesheets
- Set up of new projects and vendors
- Assist in the preparation and processing of subcontractor payment claims
- Assist procurement team with general administrative tasks including due diligence checks etc.
- Provide connectivity between projects and regions to drive consistency in administrative tasks
- Champion best practice, upskill and drive continuous improvement of administration processes
About you
- Energetic and passionate approach to work and good attention to detail
- Approachable to national projects to ensure the role is fully integrated across the regions
- Consistent at following through and closing out queries and actions in a timely fashion
- Ability to follow existing processes and recommend improvements
- Ability to work independently and use initiative as well as the ability to work well in a team
- Good organizational skills including the ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks and meet deadlines
- A high level of personal integrity
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite
