Commercial Legal Secretary
Busy CBD Law Firm are seeking experienced Legal Secretary to assist in the Commercial / Property / Wills & Estates practice on a full time basis.
Commercial Legal Secretary
In this interesting and varied role you will be working for a Partner and assist all members of the Commercial / Property / Wills & Estates team.
You should have at least 5-10 years’ experience working as a Legal Secretary.
Requirements of the role
- Transcribing of dictations
- Preparing, collating and amending legal documents and correspondence
- High level file management including file opening, file closing, hard copy and electronic filing
- Filing of legal documents online
- Assisting with client management including liaising with clients, barristers and maintaining key contact information
- Monthly preparation of accounts and billing
- Any other ad hoc duties as required
What we are looking for
- Experience with Microsoft 365
- Experience with LEAP a plus
- Excellent typing and computer skills
- A high level of organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Exceptional grammar and language skills
- Ability to prioritise work, delegate and meet deadlines
- Ability to grasp new concepts and work well under pressure
- Ability to work within a close team
- A positive attitude
