Maintenance Project Manager

About the role:
As one of the supervisors in our Maintenance division, you will be responsible for the management and oversight of maintenance jobs and small projects across WA for West to West Group, ensuring they are completed timely, safe, on budget and of high-quality.
You will be the main contact and liaison for the assigned jobs between internal and external stakeholders, and will oversee compliance, approvals, and management of required staff and trades for those jobs.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing leadership and supervision to teams of 4-5 Maintenance Technicians and Carpenters at a time on assigned jobs
- Complete quoting on client jobs, with understanding of material and labour requirements
- Procure materials, contractors and plant as required
- Attend project handovers, ensuring actions and client requirements are met
- Build and foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including sub-contractors, West to West management teams and team members, to ensure rates, jobs and goals are met.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Be Carpentry Trade certified
- Bring 2-3 years of previous experience managing staff in a similar industry
- Be a fantastic communicator that foster positive working relationships
- Bring a positive attitude to work and enjoys working with ours
- Experience with Simpro will be highly advantageous
