Projects include dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works and pipeline rehabilitation: the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities.
About the Opportunity
We’re on the lookout for a talented Community & Engagement Advisor to join our team and play a key role in the successful delivery of the New Dubbo Bridge Project.
The New Dubbo Bridge project will provide a second high-level river crossing in Dubbo, improve travel efficiency along the Newell Highway, reduce traffic congestion in Dubbo for local, visiting and freight operators and commuters, and enhance access across the Macquarie River during flood events. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an important infrastructure project for the people of Dubbo and regional NSW.
Based full time on site, you will work collaboratively with our project and management teams and be the on the ground point of contact for the community and residents, implementing project specific communication action plans to effectively engage with stakeholders and local community.
What you’ll bring to the team
Experience in a stakeholder engagement, community relations, or communications role ideally with experience working on Civil Infrastructure projects.
Qualifications in communications, public relations, community engagement, or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse stakeholders, and capacity to influence stakeholders and foster engagement.
A forward-thinking and innovative approach, coupled with creative problem-solving abilities, underpinned by a strong focus on delivery and results.
