Compliance Officer

BCB are proud to be the most experienced Strata Insurance Broker in Australia. Our growing teams are based across Australia and we are excited to be expanding our Compliance team in Melbourne. 

This newly created role will be working with our National Compliance & Governance Manager to proactively monitor and ensure compliance throughout BCB.

Key skills & responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Organise & maintain an audit calendar
• Ensure audits are completed efficiently, following up where necessary
• Prepare reports as required
• Stay up to date with any regulatory changes

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

• Ideally some previous experience in compliance or administration
• Proven time/workload management skills with a track record in delivering tasks within deadlines
• Ability to anticipate needs and react to regular change without compromising professional demeanour
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and empathetically
• Demonstrated ability in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Has the ability to quickly understand new concepts and to thrive in a fast paced work environment
