About the Opportunity
The QTU is seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to join our small team. This is a fixed-term opportunity of 6 months, reporting to the HR Coordinator.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and updating the existing policies, procedures and guidelines for all corporate services such as HR, ICT and Finance.
- Reviewing legislation and consulting with stakeholders to determine the requirement and implementation of new policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Conducting risk assessments to positively contribute towards best practice and compliance.
- Providing training to educate employees on the policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to their roles.
About You
To be successful in this position you will have:
- Experience in policy development or compliance management preferably within the corporate services function.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in planning, implementing and completing projects within the scope and timeframes.
