Singh Homes is an established, fast growing Australian owned business, specializing in the design and build of high quality custom homes across Victoria. We are building our team and are looking for a highly experience Construction manager. who posses the expertise to plan construction projects and oversee their progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner.
As a Construction Manager You Will Be Responsible For:
The day to day management of the construction arm of the business and overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion
- Coordinating all site construction activities including the management of construction supervisors and subcontractors
- Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
- Oversee OH&S and all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
- Meet contractual conditions of performance
- Review the work progress on daily basis
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
- Analyse, manage and mitigate risks
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques for delivering work on time and on budget
- Ensuring that the completed work meets the high quality standards of Singh Homes.
Skills And Experience:
To join this amazing team, You'll also possess the following:
- Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Construction, Engineering or related
- Construction Management experience or equivalent, with demonstrated experience in management and leadership of supervisors and tradesmen in the domestic construction sector
- Demonstrable experience with site safety management and people management
- Sound knowledge about OHS regulations
- Demonstrated record of compliance with quality work standards;
- Must have proven experience in supervising construction project, this role allows for a great utilisation of previous skills and experience
- Solid contracts administration background and project coordination skills, experience in delivering multiple projects
