About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Content Marketing Specialist to join the Blue Bungalow team. The purpose of this role is to drive Content Marketing through the successful management of our established content portfolio. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role is primarily responsible for content creation and guiding the creative team to deliver on brand direction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ideate and create exciting, innovative customer-first content designed to drive exponential growth across Blue Bungalow’s marketing channels and website.
- Creative development of content, including videography (pre-production, shoot and post-production) for all digital and social channels, working with our in-house production team, at our HQ content studio.
- Oversee photoshoots in line with brand strategy and ensure a team of shoot assistants delivers on the overall content plan.
- Assist in sourcing talent that aligns with our brand and develop and nurture strong working relationships with all content talent.
- Work closely and collaboratively by developing and pitching ideas to Marketing Manager to align on metrics of success and expectations of content cadence, ensuring it is hitting brand goals.
- Regularly review the performance of content using data and insights to find new ways to improve platforms such as via Facebook Business Manager and Google Analytics.
- Understand the consumer and competitor landscape through data and insights to inform, shape and iterate the Content Marketing strategy.
About You
Your expertise in creating compelling content will be pivotal in driving our brand’s success. This role is ideal for an individual wanting to progress into brand management within an innovative digital marketing team.
- 3+ yrs experience in a similar specialist role, ideally in content or brand marketing focussed roles
- Formal qualifications in business or creative industries
- Proven experience in Content Marketing essential, partnerships, PR & events experience well regarded but not essential
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Proven experience managing projects across cross functional teams
- Creative to the core, with a sound understanding of commercial objectives
- An inspiring and supportive leader who understands that the strength of the team is key to the success of the department. Experience managing a team of at least 3 is a must
- A people person - you are energised by collaborating with your colleagues
- Curious, with a track record of continual learning
- Resilient and flexible with the ability to pivot based on changing business and consumer environments
