About the role
This is a two year contract role at our Brisbane office.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager - Delivery, the purpose of this role is to provide expert advice and implement effective contract management services supporting the delivery of the project contracts.
This role has two key responsibilities:
- Provide contract and commercial administration of the key project contracts across two project sites.
- Ensure that the contract administration services are performed in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.
Key activities include:
- Administer contract matters and documentation relating to supplier claims, disputes, invoicing/payments, correspondence, review meetings, back charges, taxes, insurance, liability, indemnities, bonds and retentions.
- Monitor and maintain effective contract supplier performance in terms of cost, quality, quantity, services, warranty, and availability.
- Review and propose improvements to any current procedures, systems, methodologies and practices to support the effective management of contracts.
About you
- Extensive relevant industry experience with demonstrated project experience in a commercial environment.
- Strong major project experience working with either EPC contractors or major owner’s team environments.
- Well-developed people and relationship skills with demonstrated ability to work in a team environment communicating effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Economics, Commerce, Finance, Quantity Surveying, Legal or other relevant discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
