As a result of continued growth, the company has secured a strong pipeline of industrial/commercial warehousing projects for 2024 and 2025. The Role - What will you do?
For this office based role, you will report to Management and provide project support by way of managing project financials and subcontractor management.
You will be responsible for the project scoping and procurement of materials, head contract and subcontract negotiations, letting and administration as directed by Management.
You will take on all financial management of the projects including progress claims and variations, issuing of purchase orders and tracking of project costs, expenditure and budgeting.
With a focus on promoting strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants, whilst administering all contracts up and down the line, this role operates in a dynamic environment and requires exception attention to detail and accuracy.
Skills & Experience - What do you need?
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
3+ years of Contract Administrator experience within the Construction industry, experience on warehousing projects would be a bonus, not essential
Degree qualifications or relevant site background
Knowledge and experience in structural steel, a bonus, not essential
Proven successful management and delivery of commercial and industrial construction projects
Be proficient in project commercials and administration e.g. management of head contracts and subcontracts, submission and assessments of progress claims and payments, monthly project financial and cost reporting, head contract and subcontract variations
Strong time management and attention to detail
Be proactive in maintaining a strong client focus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to prioritise tasks and meet strict deadlines
Experience in Workbench, a bonus, not essential
