A newly created role has become available for a detail-oriented, analytical Contract Administrator with exceptional communication skills to play an integral part of a dynamic and professional project team. With a high value investment supported by local and state governments, you'll play a critical role contributing to major work packages, including a community land development, and a state-of-the-art recycling facility.
Based in Kurnell and reporting to the Project Manager, you're set to be a linchpin in contract management, negotiations, and ensuring compliance. Beyond the paperwork, you'll be navigating risks, smoothing out changes, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders – all crucial ingredients for project success.

You will be trusted with:
- Managing governance of multiple contracts with sub-contractors and suppliers
- Negotiating and drafting contracts in collaboration with the project team
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with contracts, offering proactive solutions
- Handling changes and modifications to contracts, documenting and communicating with relevant parties
- Cultivating positive relationships with internal teams, and stakeholders along with external contractors, suppliers, and service providers
- Maintaining accurate and organised contract documentation, including amendments and correspondence
- Managing claims and variations from associated sub-contractors
- Facilitating resolution of disputes or conflicts arising from contract issues
- Developing and implementing performance indicators to assess contractor and project performance, conducting regular evaluations
- 5 + years experience in a CA role within the construction/civil industry
- Tertiary qualification in civil, construction or finance
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Proven experience on large construction projects in Australia
