What’s On OfferA rare and rewarding opportunity exists for a highly organised and meticulous individual to join our busy Governance and Legal department at the City of Kwinana. This is a full-time position reporting to the Manager Governance and Legal and working alongside a stellar team of like-minded professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high level executive support to Council, the CEO and Committees. Working closely with the Elected Members and the Executive, you will also interact with external stakeholders and various internal City departments.
What You’ll NeedTo make an impact as our new Council Governance and Administration Officer you will have…
- Demonstrated experience in as an executive officer supporting high level meetings with agendas and minutes.
- Developed knowledge of local government including local government election processes.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of the organisation and manage information that is often of a confidential or sensitive nature.
- Organisational skills and initiative to prioritise work and deliver on deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
- Current Driver’s Licence.
