The Role

We are seeking an experienced Credit Officer to join our (dog-friendly) Northgate team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Credit Manager, you will utilise your collections and customer service skills within a highly supportive team to ensure favourable outcomes to our valued vet clinic customers. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large, head office finance team and be part of a global organisation that makes a positive impact to our vet customers and pet owners.
Your responsibilities will include –
Managing 2000+ active debtors including our major corporate accounts through the provision of timely collection calls and follow up.
Cash receipting and customer reconciliations.
Attending to customer account enquiries and actioning requests including issuing statements etc.
Assisting Credit Manager with monthly reporting.
Ad hoc administrative tasks including filing and managing the email inbox.
Assisting with general adhoc duties.
About You
Ideally you will display –
Minimum two years experience in a commercial collections role.
Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills when dealing with complex customer queries and situations.
Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel.
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Reliability and flexibility to work within a changing and fast paced environment.
A friendly and collaborative demeanour to work within a cohesive finance team.
