Customer Marketing Manager (Fmcg)

Six Degrees Executive are thrilled to be the exclusive partner of this ASX listed consumer goods operation, as they seek a Customer Marketing Manager to join their Australian team. This is a rare opportunity for a dynamic, creative and commercially astute customer or brand marketer, to take an already strong brand in market, to new heights.

Responsible for the planning, development and execution of all brand and customer activations, collateral and events, the Customer Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in driving this brand’s presence across the Australian market. With a mandate that supports various channels, but focuses on foodservice, this role will ensure continual alignment between the overall brand strategy, and the commercial objectives of the wider business. While utilising creative and out of the box thinking, this thinking must be balanced through a commercially savvy and returns focused approach to marketing.

With a finger on the pulse relating to industry trends and changes in market, the Customer Marketing Manager will utilise such insights to influence customer activity for the region, that will not only give credence to the brand locally, but will ultimately support the global marketing team in future planning. Further, working in close cohesion with the internal sales team, this hire must be able to exercise agility across planning and execution, ensuring their customer base is heard, and the evolution in their needs are supported. 

With such a diverse and engaged networks of customers across foodservice in Australia, it is imperative that the Customer Marketing Manager possess a genuine passion for, and knowledge of, the food, drink and the hospitality scene here in Australia, and abroad. Further, the Customer Marketing Manager can expect to travel from time to time, visiting customers and managing activations and industry events across the country.

This role would suit a hungry and established brand or Customer Marketing Manager or executive, with experience in a similar role, ideally from the FMCG, food or beverage industry. While open minded to level of experience (within reason), it is imperative that this hire possess a can-do, proactive, and determined attitude, and is someone who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and contribute to wider business opportunities.
