Who we are looking for
If you excel in managing customer interactions within a fast-paced transport environment, possess strong leadership abilities, and are committed to ensuring exceptional service delivery, we want you on our team. Lead our Customer Service team to success and contribute to enhancing the overall transport experience for our valued clients.
Based in North Melbourne, the successful candidate will play an integral role in managing the web of operations to meet client needs effectively and efficiently. Work with your team to liaise with customers, ensuring smooth communication and resolution of issues. You will help streamline processes, mitigate risks, and optimise customer satisfaction and help build long-term partnerships based on reliability and exceptional service.
This is a fulltime role with flexibility in start and end times to suit the right candidate.
What your days would look like?
Key functions (but not limited to):
- Leadership of the Customer Service team
- Providing excellent Customer Service by liaising with staff and clients
- Utilisation of the transport management system (TMS)
- Tracking, processing, and coordinating freight deliveries and pickups as required
- Providing customer-based reporting as required
- Assisting with creating and presenting QBM documents
- Developing and updating Customer Service SOPs
- Assisting IT with EDI or transmission related changes
Do you tick these boxes?
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within the transport/logistics industry
- Proficient in Microsoft software
- High level of attention to detail
- Experience in accurate data entry
- Highly self-motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Great problem solving and time management skills
- Able to contribute in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
