Role Overview:
Backpacker Deals & Travello is seeking a proactive and experienced Customer Service Manager to lead our dynamic team. As the Customer Service Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring exceptional Customer Service, optimising processes, and driving performance metrics. If you have a genuine interest in adventure travel and possess strong leadership skills, we want you on board!
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in travel management (assistant team leader or above)
- Previous experience in the travel or adventure tourism industry is a plus.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred but not always required, depending on experience.
- Relevant certifications in call centre management or Customer Service are a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with call centre software and CRM systems (e.g Zendesk, Hubspot)
- Track record of meeting/exceeding sales metrics.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Motivate, train, and mentor team members (In person & remote)
- Ensure high customer satisfaction levels.
- Develop and implement call centre strategies and operational plans.
- Manage the call centre budget efficiently.
- Recruit, train, and retain top talent.
- Implement quality assurance measures.
- Generate and analyse call centre performance reports.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations.

This is a full-time role based in our Brisbane office, based in Windsor.
