$64,002 – $69,019 (Pro Rata)

The Role
As the Customer Service Officer you will:
Greet and assist Council’s customers with a range of enquiries, including general queries of Council services such as waste management, rates and dog registrations
Provide preliminary assistance to customers with queries on routine zoning, planning and building requirements
Receipt and process customer payments
Receive and appropriately lodge service requests and licencing applications
Mandatory Requirements
Skills & Experience
The successful applicant will have the following:
Completion of a relevant qualification and/or relevant experience in a similar role
Ability to effectively engage with a diverse customer base and strong cash handling and balancing skills
Proficiency in the use of Office 365 applications, and the ability to work across specialised business systems
Strong problem solving skills and ability to use initiative to manage multiple tasks
Comittment to upholding Council values of Safety, Integrity, Teamwork, Service Excellence and Continuous Improvement
