About the role
We have a great opportunity for a Billing Officer to join our Customer Fulfilment team, Reporting to the Team Leader - Billing, the role supports the review, coordination and optimisation of NDIS Billing and NDIS funded customers
The role will include:
- Conducting billing activities through the use of Carelink to produce accurate bills for services delivered
- Producing and distributing customer bills in a timely manner to ensure payment is received promptly
- Identifying and escalating any inconsistencies or concerns to ensure that concerns are managed quickly and effectively.
- Assisting in the continuous improvement of billing practices based on best practice
- Contributing to regular reporting requirements to show the status of billing activities against objectives
- Assisting in the design, development and implementation of systems, policies and procedures
About You
- Customer focussed with a desire to strive to achieve measures of success, take initiative and continuously seek to improve performance
- Proven experience in a Customer Service role within a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritise work
- Experience in using Carelink+ and working in rostering is desirable, as is experience in community service and/ or a not for profit environment
- Demonstrates high level competence in computer applications, i.e. Microsoft office
