ABOUT THE ROLE
With growth, our client is adding a Customer Service Representative to their Melbourne team. Maintaining a portfolio of accounts, you will work closely with your clients and internal departments to ensure the smooth execution of freight movements, including quoting, order tracking, coordinating routings and general customer relations. This role has elements of operations as required along with exposure to the commercial elements with clients.
DUTIES
- Maintain and service a portfolio of accounts
- Ensure all movements are DIFOT through strong reporting structures
- Provide daily status reports and troubleshoot potential issues
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure minimal delays
- Build strong relationships with external stakeholders including client visits
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years experience in a freight forwarding role (Operations and Customer Service)
- Understand end to end import/export freight forwarder process
- Demonstrated ability to communicate both verbally and in written text
- Sound systems usage ability (CW1 inc. PO Modules)
- Strong computer literacy (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
