Terry’s Locksmiths was founded in 1975. It is now a mid-size Gold Coast firm headquarted in Burleigh Heads with an enviable reputation in the domestic, small business and automotive market. The firm is rapidly evolving with an enthusiastic adoption of the latest technologies relevant to the industry and business best practice.
We operate a team of 20 staff, with 3 of those being in Admin And Support. The rest of the team are trade qualified locksmiths or apprentices.

About the role
Hours of work:
- 9am-5pm Mon-Fri
You will be working alongside two other full-time admin/support personnel at our Burleigh Heads office.
The role has a Customer Support focus:
- Receive in-bound customer calls
- Scheduling locksmith service visits
- Re-organise locksmith schedules and coordinate with the customer as the day unfolds (job over-runs etc)
- Forward technical enquiries to the appropriate locksmiths on staff
- Processing of various reports
- Accounts and expediting
Experience in a trade business (eg plumbing, electrical, automotive) would be well regarded but not essential. Full training is provided.

What we'd like to see
- Basic experience with XERO accounting software (not essential)
- Basic experience with MS Excel (not essential)
- Experience working in a Customer Support role
- Full Australian working rights
- Able to converse clearly with colleagues and customers
- ESSENTIAL: A basic understanding of the makes and models of cars in Australia. For example, you need to know that a Commodore is made by Holden and a Falcon is made by Ford.
