Robert Half Technology are working alongside a well known and hugely successful wholesale business in the Eastern suburbs of Brisbane and we're looking at building out a brand new Business Intelligence department. Our client offer state of the art offices in a location which is easily accessible and have free parking at many other facilities. This role is to be the Data/BI Analyst where you will help build out the practice.
The Role
This is a full time onsite position and will involve:
Responsibilities:
- Work with the interfaces to produce models, reports, dashboards that present the data
- Gather the business requirements and translate to technical requirements
- Develop and maintain the BI tools and work with PowerBI
- Create visual documents to present the data effectively
- Work closely with the BI Developer as well as other key members of the department
- Transform complex data into easy to understand business terms
Requirements:
- Experience working in a similar BI Analyst position
- Familiarity with the Microsoft suite including SQL Server, PowerBI and MS Azure
- Experience building data interfaces, visualisations and reporting tools
- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Power Apps, Report Builder, etc. would be beneficial
