The Role:
As a Data Entry Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of operations by accurately and efficiently inputting data into systems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Entering data from various sources into the company database with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintaining and updating databases and input systems to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
- Generating and distributing reports based on collected data to support management decision-making.
- Collaborating with other departments to gather necessary data and ensure consistent information flow.
- Adhering to data integrity and security policies to safeguard information.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of Data Entry protocols to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Input time sheet data into Excel spreadsheets, ensuring precise calculation of hours for payroll processing.
- Print and verify cycle counts against previous day's stock takes, ensuring consistency with receivals.
- Review and reconcile entries in MFGPro with corresponding data in Excel files.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Data Entry or a related role, preferably in a fast-paced or FMCG / Manufacturing environment.
- MFG Pro experience a bonus but nit essential.
- Strong / intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and database management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to adapt to constant change and work with ambiguity.
- Mature personality with the capability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
