Form of workRole Title: Data Governance Specialist.
Contract Length: 24 months + 2 months possible extension.
Security Clearance: Australian Citizen & Baseline required.
Location: ACT, NSW, VIC, SA, WA, NT
Role Requirements:
• Develop and implement Data Governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the quality, security, and privacy of our data assets.
• Establish Data Governance frameworks and methodologies to govern the entire data lifecycle, from acquisition to disposal.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data ownership, stewardship, and accountability roles within the organization.
• Conduct data quality assessments and implement strategies to improve data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Oversee data classification and categorization efforts to identify sensitive and regulated data and ensure appropriate handling and protection
About you:
• Experience in Data Governance, data management, or related fields.
• In-depth understanding of Data Governance principles, practices, and methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of data protection regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience in implementing Data Governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
• Proficiency in data analysis, data profiling, and data quality management.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skill
Security Requirements
Candidates will need to be willing to undergo pre-employment screening checks which may include, ID and work rights, security clearance verification and any other client requested checks.
