Data Governance Specialist

As a Data Governance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving data transformation, through enhancing Data Governance strategy. 

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with stakeholders to gather business requirements for Data Governance objectives
• Develop, implement and monitor Data Governance frameworks and policies
• Collaborate with a cross-functional data and analytics team to ensure data is accurately prepared, collected, stored and shared
• Enhance the decision-making strategy, through reporting and data analysis, to ensure it is adequately informed by data 

• 3+ years in a Data Governance focused role
• Experience working with complex data to develop and enhance Data Governance policies and frameworks
• Experience with data risk mitigation and compliance
• A technical background e.g. data engineering, data analysis, data modelling, etc.
• Commercial experience in financial services (desirable, not essential)
