We are seeking a well-organised, highly motivated and committed individual to join our dedicated team of electrical and mechanical engineers to assist and support the sustainment of the Regiment's vehicle and equipment fleet.
The Data Management Officer will be accountable for understanding and complying with relevant legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Defence's mission and policy requirements.
The successful candidate can expect to undertake specialist, procedural, clerical, administrative support or operational tasks, including basic research and analysis activities, to support the workforce.
Other duties include:
- Perform data entry activities to maintain logistics databases.
- Contribute to governance audits on the security access of logistics databases.
- Understand team and individual capabilities and make effective use of own resources.
- Demonstrate knowledge of database management systems to provide advice and support to logistics activities.
- Build and sustain effective relationships with team members and actively participate in team and group activities.
About our Team
The 1st Signal Regiment Technical Support Troop is a small team of 30 personnel that operates a maintenance facility on Gallipoli Barracks.
The team reports directly to the Officer Commanding 100 Logistics Support Squadron and is responsible for providing all maintenance and recovery support to the Headquarters 1st (Australian) Division, the Deployable Joint Force Headquarters and the Regiment.
The team is integral to ensuring all land materiel within its remit is safe to use and compliant with Defence maintenance directives.
