About the role:
A position has become available at our practise for anyone looking for permanent 4 days of shifts a week. We have a very friendly team that has been with us for a long time. This position is ideal for reliable, experienced team members who want to start the next step in their professional careers.
Experience with dental nursing and the ability to cover more shifts in Wollert and Whittlesea branches is preferred.
Experience with dental nursing and the ability to lead the nursing team is a requirement. The job will start with ample training and will grow to full-time permanent shifts in the future. Saturday availability is a requirement.
Attractive pay rates will be offered to the right candidate. Candidate must be ready to get trained and learn the systems of the practice.
At the reception, you are the most important person our patients come in contact with and represent the face of the business. Our philosophy is to provide our patients with both excellent clinical outcomes as well as an exceptional customer service experience. As a nurse you will be responsible for:
Assisting dentist with various procedures including, checkups, cleans, fillings, root canals, surgery, crowns, implants and other procedures.
Maintaining stock in the room
Making the patient feel comfortable in the chair and the appointment.
Filling our lab sheets and details in script pads.
Sterilization and infection control
Keeping the rooms neat and tidy
Attending training and meeting sessions at the clinic
Specific skills: Computer literate, proficient in D4W, Excel, data entry, KPIs
Availability: Permanent hours will include Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.
