Dental Diagnostics is a specialist dental imaging clinic in Brisbane. We cater exclusively to patients who require x-rays of the teeth, jaws and face. We specialise in providing the highest quality dental and orofacial imaging, with a relaxed and comfortable environment for both staff and patients.
We have two state-of-the-art locations: Chermside and Upper Mount Gravatt, and are open Monday to Friday 8.30am till 5.00pm.
We are seeking a friendly and efficient staff member to assist our busy reception and technical teams. This position will be based at our Chermside clinic and will occasionally require some travel to our Upper Mount Gravatt location.
You will be working alongside a small yet highly skilled team of office coordinators, Radiographers and onsite Radiologists who all work closely to provide the highest quality service to both patients and referrers. Your role will include:

Taking OPG, Ceph, and CBCT Scans
Working with Imaging software such as OnDemand 3D, Dolphin Imaging, Osirix and more (expert training will be provided)
Making appointments for multiple scan types from a range of referrers
Actioning phone and email requests from referrers/patients regarding bookings or enquiries
Manage the registration of patients and doctors in our Radiology Information System
Billing patients with both HICAPS and Medicare billing systems
Liaising with clinicians and assisting with their enquiries
Providing technical support for clinicians regarding patient image and report access
Assisting with general clerical duties as requested
Qualities of the ideal candidate:
Certificate IV in Dental Assisting with an OPG Radiography licence is required. CBCT training will be provided.
Previous experience with Dental Imaging - OPG and/or CBCT is required, along side previous Dental Administration and/or Assisting experience.
Experience using Dental Imaging Software and/or the ability to learn new programs.
Knowledge and understanding of Billing with both HICAPS and Medicare.
High level of accuracy, efficiency and attention to detail.
The ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
Professional presentation.
High computer literacy, including the ability to recognise and work with multiple programs and file types including Microsoft office, Outlook, DICOM files and Zip files.
RIS/PACS Systems knowledge is desirable and will be highly regarded.
