Hays Engineering has proudly partnered with the City of Launceston to help attract a dynamic and experienced Design and Delivery Manager. This is a key role within the Infrastructure and Assets team that will see you help to deliver meaningful projects that shape the City's skyline and help optimise its liveability.
Your new role
As the Design and Delivery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading a talented team to manage multiple projects from planning through to construction and handover. You'll be accountable for project quality, cost, safety and timeliness of project delivery.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you'll need tertiary qualifications in either a construction or planning related field with at least seven years of practical experience in either design, construction, and project management fields. You'll possess a strong working knowledge of standard conditions of contract and the ability to influence outcomes in the project environment. You'll be deeply experienced in the application of project and contract management principles along with the supervision and or management of consultants and contractors. In addition to your technical expertise, you'll have a natural flair for leading and inspiring technical teams.
