Design Coordinator

Service Stream’s Fixed Communications team are currently seeking a Design Coordinator to join our growing company. You will be responsible for the Coordination and delivery of the design components of the Service Stream Communications ODM Program

Nature of position:           Permanent, Full Time

Location:                            Melbourne VIC / Parramatta NSW / Fortitude Valley QLD

Reporting Line:                  National Design Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and ensure timely delivery of all design requirements.
• Assigning and allocating work in a timely manner.
• Facilitate communication among project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in creating, communicating, validation and following up on all supplier claims to ensure timely completion for all jobs.
• Track and report on design turnaround times accurately to maintain program integrity.
• Collaborate closely with offshore suppliers to address and escalate any design inquiries, ensuring smooth project progress.
• Accurately close out system tasks to facilitate management reporting.
• Work closely with the Design Lead and field coordinators to ensure seamless project execution.
• Serve as the single point of contact for clients/customers, providing efficient communication and support throughout project delivery
• Create & maintain design process documentation.
• Any other activity required as directed by the business

About You

• Previous Coordination experience in services sectors such as Telecommunications/Power/Water etc.
• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Strong Excel skills are highly desirable).
• Previous experience in work management programs
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a vibrant "can-do" attitude.
• Capability to establish positive relationships with all project stakeholders.
• Proven project coordination skills.
• Understanding of project management processes and tools.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good relationship and communication skills.
• Innovative and resourceful self-starter with a high level of energy and motivation
