The Opportunity
The Priority Projects and Program Management Office (PMO), in the Housing and Assets Division, drives the delivery of the State Governments’ high-profile investments in social housing and infrastructure, aligned to Ministerial priorities to address community need. The Directorate is responsible for the:
- Delivery of Priority Projects, which are bespoke, single site, high value projects that have both capital works and commissioning elements and require collaboration within Communities, with other agencies and service providers.
- Delivery of Priority Programs which are complex, high volume capital programs that also deliver socio-economic benefits to communities.
- Oversight of Communities’ Asset Investment Program (AIP) assurance functions including reporting, governance and Project controls, cost, quality and risk.
Current projects and programs being delivered include Common Ground, Aboriginal Short Stay Accommodation, Family and Domestic Violence One Stop Hubs and an East Metro Women’s Refuge, Community Housing Grants, the North West Aboriginal Housing Fund and Kimberley Flood Housing Recovery.
As a Development Manager your role will provide whole of life project management across several built form projects or may be responsible for the delivery of one complex project. The position contributes to project initiation and business case development, funding submissions, stakeholder engagement and management and Project monitoring, evaluation, reporting and close-out.
As a Project Manager, your role will be responsible for managing the delivery of one or more complex projects from inception to completion, whilst working in close coordination with the Development Manager. This position will focus on the built form and may require qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in the construction industry as well as experience with AS2124 type contracts and contract administration.
