We currently are building a high-rise residential project in Brisbane and have a strong pipeline of work for the foreseeable future. We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Development Manager which is on full time employment.
About the role:
Your role assists in the development portfolio across multiple projects. You will assist in managing consultants and contracts, supporting stakeholders, assisting in delivering projects on time, on budget and of premium quality.
Your duties:
- Support the development team, professional consultants and other resources in their performance and in fulfilling their duties to achieve.
- Liaising and assist in discussions with the relevant authorities, agents and builders, as directed by the company.
- Ensure timely processing, accurate coding and approval of project costs
- Work closely with the finance function to compile feasibilities and maintain regular project forecasts to ensure the project meets the financial criteria and the continued support from financiers. Analyze development options, forecast sales, pricing, delivery and assess return on investment of assigned projects.
- Assist in the planning, design and delivery of the development strategy.
- Manage the communication of project issues and project performance to the company.
- Work effectively with our agents, builders and other consultants to get the best outcomes for the project at every level.
Skills:
- Relevant tertiary degree qualification.
- Advantage to have previous experience in planning, organizing and coordinating development, design, construction and marketing, particularly in the industrial sector.
- Excellent communication, computer and time-management skills.
- You are driven, motivated and enthusiastic.
