We have exciting opportunities for experienced and Qualified Sous Chef, Head Chefs, Exec Chefs to join our Catering teams at out Villages located in the Bowen Basin, Gunnedah Basin, and Pilbara Regions.
This role is responsible for assisting or managing all kitchen operations including the production and presentation of all meal services, ensuring HSQE and ISO Quality Assurance Certifications are maintained, employee development and management, menu development, rostering, auditing, budgeting, and reporting.
Full-Time, Permanent positions available consisting of on-going rotating rosters (5-2 or 14-7 options – may vary per village).

Application/On-boarding Process

- Follow-up phone discussion with Recruitment Team for applications completed
- Complete Civeo paperwork and provide relevant pre-employment documents, including a National Police Check Certificate less than 6 months old
- Complete Pre-Employment Medical Assessment, including Drug and Alcohol Testing
- Accept verbal offer by Civeo Recruitment, contract issued
- Attend Red Carpet Induction and Get Started
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- A minimum Certificate III Commercial Cookery qualification (or equivalent) and be able to provide a copy of your certification and competencies obtained in qualification.
- Demonstrated relevant work experience, preferably in the commercial hospitality industry
- Experience in high volume, fast paced kitchens
- Competence in batch cooking across all service offerings
- Experience maintaining ISO Quality Assurance Certification
- Advanced budgetary analytical skills
- Capability to work well under pressure
- Demonstrated experience working successfully in a team
- Willingness to assist in staff training
- Flexibility to work, day and/or night shifts if required for your role
- The ability to pass a pre-employment medical including alcohol and drug screening
- A National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain
- Documentation to prove working rights within Australia
- Exceptional communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Remote work experience (highly regarded)
- Current Driver’s Licence (highly regarded)
