POSITION PURPOSE:
Lead Digital Marketing capabilities within The Kids’ Cancer Project and support the Marketing and Communications team to deliver campaigns, appeals, events and brand activities. This role will work to engage and educate the community, donors, and corporates to drive donations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
General
- Support the marketing and communications team on developing and executing brand activities, content, and key messaging to position the charity in the marketplace nationally.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to market the charity, engage the community and generate new revenue streams.
- Provide photography and video support at internal and external events for use in social media, website and fundraising collateral and coordinate external suppliers as required.
- Work with external agencies on delivering brand and campaign activity.
Digital
- Paid media strategy and management including planning, execution and optimising advertising on digital platforms including Meta Ads, LinkedIn, Google, TikTok, Twitter and Snapchat.Lead and deliver strategic and innovative email marketing campaigns above and beyond standard campaign and event activity, implementing supporter journeys, automation and optimising for conversion.
- Work with Data/IT to segment audiences for targeted communications.
- Manage The Kids’ Cancer Project’s social media presence including community management, content planning and social listening.
Graphics and design
- Utilise basic design skills to create on brand, eye capturing content for social media, email marketing and digital advertising.
- Capture and edit short form video to be used on digital channels.
- Ensure marketing and communications content is consistent with The Kids’ Cancer Project brand style guide.
Reporting and analytics
- Analysis of fundraising and marketing activities and contribute to the event and campaign evaluation process.
- Responsible for social media listening.
- Coordinate regular performance reports including monthly Digital Marketing report.
- Monthly invoice and budget reconciliation.
Other
- Proficient in Meta Ads.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines and managing external stakeholders.
- Excellent multi-tasking, planning and organisational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Available for events which may occur outside of normal working hours.
