This is a newly created position, and will be ideally suited to forward thinking change maker who will take on this unique challenge of leading Business Transformation at Legal Aid Queensland. The role is responsible for driving innovation, planning, and executing change across the organisation to achieve strategic objectives. The role reports to the chief executive officer.

In this role you will:
* Lead LAQ's Business Transformation Unit including overseeing the integration of new technology solutions with new and existing business processes to ensure a smooth transition and minimal disruption
* Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic framework to systematically assess and evaluate current business systems
* Play a key role in evaluating and selecting technology solutions that align with strategic objectives and operational needs
* Establish and lead project teams to modernise and enhance technological infrastructure, transitioning from outdated legacy systems to modern, secure, and efficient digital solutions
* Manage teams to ensure a shared commitment to a culture of client service, accountability, efficiency and high performance
* Drive and facilitate the delivery of fast paced programs of work that will affect LAQ's long term strategic aspirations
* Provide advice to the CEO, EMT and the Board on concepts, strategies, and tactics to deliver change.
