Dispatch Coordinator & Administration

We require a full-time employee who will be based at our 1000+ square metre warehouse in Mulgrave, Monday – Friday.

Back to Sleep, is a specialised showroom in the heart of Balwyn, and is made up of an amazing, supportive, and passionate team focusing on providing sleep advice, sleep products (mattresses, adjustable beds), and other mobility aids (lift chairs, walkers, etc.) for both medical and non-medical needs, in the Retail and Government funded (NDIS & Home Care) sectors. 

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Coordinating, scheduling, and booking daily transport of our small fleet of 3 trucks and delivery teams to fulfill customer orders.
• Coordinating Run Sheets for delivery zones around the Melbourne Metro area, including optimised planning using Google Maps
• Calling customers to confirm bookings
• Ensuring POD’s are received, checked, and filed (specifically updating our inventory system to finalise delivery)
• Address customer calls for orders and delivery enquiries. 
• Manage shared mailbox to ensure all communications are answered in a timely manner.
• Coordination of some 3PL companies (including Australia Post) for smaller items.
• General administrative duties.

• Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 system including Outlook and Teams

You must have:

• Current police check (< 2 years old) or willing to get one before starting
• Applicants must have the right to live and full work rights in Australia with no restrictions
• Be FULLY vaccinated for COVID-19.

Having prior customer service, dispatch, logistics & warehousing experience is preferred but not mandatory. If you have any foreign language skills (particularly Greek or Mandarin), this would be an advantage.
