Actium Building Designers is a highly reputable design company who specialise in volume and custom design homes within the residential sector.
We pride ourselves on producing award winning designs with a strong project portfolio and we are now seeking a new Draftsperson / Architectural Draftsperson.
Job tasks and responsibilities
A suitable candidate will be responsible for producing concept designs for new homes and drafting detailed working drawing packages for construction. The ability to produce accurate drawings, display creativity and to have a sound knowledge of AutoCAD is essential to this role.
Skills and experience
A successful applicant will display:
- Proficient knowledge in AutoCAD is essential
- A strong understanding of the residential construction process
- Exposure and competent knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, and the NCC Building Regulations
- Excellent time management skills and an ability to multi-task
- An ability to problem solve
- Attention to detail & documentation accuracy
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively amongst a team
