Job Summary: Silver Water Resort is seeking an experienced and dynamic Duty Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction. The Duty Manager will be responsible for managing staff, handling guest issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of the resort facilities. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the resort, ensuring all areas are running smoothly.
- Manage and supervise staff across various departments, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Handle guest complaints, requests, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of the resort to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
- Assist with staff training and development, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Coordinate with other managers and departments to address operational issues and improve efficiency.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed.
- Prepare and manage schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times.
- Assist in the planning and execution of events and activities within the resort.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, complaints, and maintenance issues.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Duty Manager or in a similar managerial role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
