Our Early Learning Centre is located on the grounds of St Brendan’s Catholic Primary School. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team that excels in understanding the needs of children and is dedicated to creating a warm, caring and safe environment.
This is a permanent part time role working 2 days per week, 7:30am-5:30pm Thursday and Friday.
The Early Childhood Educator is responsible for
- Assisting in implementing and evaluating programs for children aged 3– 5 years in an Early Learning Centre
- Taking on the position of the responsible person when required
- Working with the Director in ensuring compliance with relevant law, regulations and National Quality Framework
- Providing a safe, nurturing and positive learning environment for children
- Building strong and effective relationships with children and their families
- Ability to form collaborative and positive relationship with colleagues
- Have a current Working with Children Clearance
- Completed CHCPRT025 ‘Identify and report children and young people at risk’
- Hold a Diploma in Children Services or working towards
- Experience working in Children Services, particularly with children aged 3-5
- Completed or willing to complete Safe Food Handling training
- Have or will to complete before starting a First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificate
