Job Description:Wood is currently recruiting for an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Superintendent for a regional Queensland project on a FIFO arrangement from Queensland.You will be responsible for the safe and effective delivery of work, leading a diverse workforce providing support and structure to achieve a reliable plant and the required business outcomes.This role will be on site in a regional Queensland location to commence in May for a FIFO 8 days on / 6 days off rotation.
Responsibilities:- Deliver best practice maintenance & asset availability for the client
- Promote positive changes in organisational culture across the site
- Actively participate in the development and update of site based operating plans and processes
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and cost effectiveness
- Supporting and supervising tasks delegated to direct reports/respective team in the execution and delivery of contracted activities
- Providing service delivery support to the business
Qualifications:- 10 years' minimum experience in Electrical in a plant maintenance or construction complex associated with the Oil and Gas Industry
- Demonstrated proficiency as a Superintendent / Supervisor with a minimum of 4 years in a work crew supervisory role
- Recognised and accredited management qualification
- Demonstrable balance of industrial and management experience at relevant level and position
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory framework and legislation
- Proficiency in scope definition
- Hold a Current QLD Electrical License
- Cert III Instrument & Control (preferred) or Cert IV Electrical - Instrumentation
- Ability to fill the role of the qualified technical person (QTP)
- Professional demeanour, strong interpersonal skills
- Flexible with can-do attitude
