We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced End User Computing Engineer to join this leading utility company. The successful candidate will be responsible for the ongoing systems maintenance, support and operation of the IT infrastructure environment
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Provide support across network, server and desktop hardware, mobile devices, software and peripheral devices, including proprietary applications
- Monitor and maintain the IT infrastructure
- Work closely with senior Infrastructure and Software Development staff in both a support capacity, and in the implementation of projects
- Identify and troubleshoot system problems in order to improve performance and reliability
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the IT department and business by making recommendations for system enhancements
Skills and experience we are looking for:
- Strong proficiency with Windows desktop and server platforms, including Exchange, Active Directory, SOE, Windows Server (Group Policy, DNS, DFS, DHCP), SCCM
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Intune
- Experience with Windows desktop deployment
- Experience with Office 365 applications and services
- Proven critical thinking and experience troubleshooting across a range of systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
