About the role
This role as an Engagement Officer supports our Home Care team at Currambine by:
- Working with the Home Care Team Lead and Coordinators to identify target clients across all Home Care programs.
- Attending client homes for face-to-face visits to discuss services, when required.
- Liaising with the Home Care Coordinators to handover documentation for sign ups.
- Engaging in effective stakeholder communications using the appropriate communication channels to promote Home Care services.
- Managing the engagement mailbox and ensure queries are responded to in a timely manner.
- Attending relevant sector expos and events.
- Conducting phone call and other engagement activities with potential clients.
- Monitoring the MercyCare CHSP database and engaging with clients to convert eligible clients to MercyCare HCP.
- Undertaking additional duties as required by the Manager or Team Lead of Home Care.

About you
You’ll share our values and want to make a difference in the lives of others. Your key experience will include:
- Certificate III in business, administration, marketing, customer service (desirable)
- Relevant experience in a fast moving administrative or customer service role
- Understanding principles of relationship management and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and participation as an active member of a team
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Driver’s license
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
