All Occasion Cruises, Sydney Harbour’s biggest private charter operator, is looking for a vibrant Event Coordinator. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who is innovative, detail-oriented and sales-focused. We are looking for a go- getter to join our team and take ownership from start to finish in event coordination.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responding to function and event sales enquiries in a timely manner
- Matching client requirements to the offerings within our fleet of 8 owned and operated charter boats
- Following up on sales leads promptly and passionately
- Liaising with clients over the phone, via email and in person
- Creating and sending out tailored proposals and quotes within set turnaround times
- Sell, plan and execute a variety of exciting events
- Offer event advice, planning, and coordination to ensure outstanding experiences for our customers
- Clearly communicating with the operations team to ensure upcoming events are executed seamlessly
Customer Service Expectations:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal departments
- Friendly and honest demeanour
- Willingness to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction
- Demonstrated ability to multi task and meet deadlines
To be considered for this role you must possess the following:
- Tertiary Event Management qualification or equivalent are preferred although not essential
- Great team player with established administration skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on phone and email conversational aptitude
- A positive can-do attitude that will add value to the team
