The position
Delivery of internal and external events, working collaboratively with staff and external parties to ensure both internal and external client needs and requirements are met. The nature of the events at the Cell Block Theatre and across the campus will require a flexible work schedule including weekend and evening work. There is a preference for applicants with a demonstrated understanding and use of audio-visual technology.
What you bring to the role
You are an events professional that is available to work casually on weekends and evenings as required. The work will be dependent on bookings and staffing requirements so will suit someone with a flexible schedule.
You will be confident in delivering events from intimate weddings through to large scale public events that are produced efficiently, timely, safely and to a high standard. You will have excellent organisational, communication skills and stakeholder management to ensure the event’s success and produce post event reports. You will have experience in working in a liquor licensed premises and be familiar with managing beverage sales, EFT takings and stocktaking. A high level of interpersonal and customer service skills to meet stakeholder needs, along with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team will ensure your success in this role. RSA and Driver’s License are essential.
