About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Event Manager to join our team. As the Event Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing a wide range of events across our portfolio of event spaces. From weddings to corporate functions and social gatherings, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that each event is flawlessly executed, leaving a lasting impression on our clients and their guests.

You will be responsible for:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and vision.
  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including logistics, catering, décor, styling, and entertainment.
  • Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Liaise with vendors and negotiate contracts to secure services and products.
  • Oversee event set-up, execution, and breakdown, ensuring a smooth and seamless execution with the operations team delivering an exceptional experience for clients and guests.
  • Provide on-site leadership during events to address any issues and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members to enhance the overall event experience.
  • Stay current on industry trends and innovative event planning strategies.

About you

You will be passionate about delivering experiences that exceed the guests’ expectations. In addition, you will have:

  • Proven experience as an Event Manager in a hospitality environment.
  • Experience in event planning weddings, corporate and social events.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in event management software (ideally Priava) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A creative mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional events.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
