The Role
As an Events Manager at E&P’s Sydney office, you will play an integral role in supporting the Marketing and Wealth divisions of the business, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations while working both independently and as part of a dynamic team. This is an ideal role for a proactive and motivated individual looking to enhance their skills, gain valuable experience and progress their career within Financial Services.
A typical day may include:
- Meeting with and building relationships with stakeholders to create awareness of resourcing and capability of event planning.
- Managing all logistical aspects of an event, such as venue coordination and equipment arrangements.
- Handling all preparatory tasks necessary for events.
- Managing relationships with external service providers and vendors involved in an event.
- Ensuring consistency and success of events through contract management and project planning.
As an Events Manager, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, utilising exceptional organisational and project management skills to coordinate multiple stakeholders and tasks. Your strong communication and negotiation abilities will ensure successful outcomes, while your attention to detail and proactive approach will prevent any oversights. With a knack for time management and prioritisation, you'll adhere to deadlines and drive others to do the same. Your expertise in technology tools and budget management will further enhance your effectiveness in orchestrating memorable events. You will also have some previous related experience.
