Your day to day
You’ll assist the Food and Beverage Manager with our biggest pieces of business and closely work with the C&E operations and culinary teams to ensure the seamless delivery of all meetings and events at the hotel.
You’ll make sure all our client meetings, events and weddings run smoothly - acting as both brand ambassador and trusted partner – you’ll connect internal teams to deliver a seamless experience for planners, hosts and meeting attendees.
You will ensure the whole client experience successful and memorable and act as the brand ambassador and key contact throughout their journey. This will include working weekends if that is when your clients event are on.
Your immaculate presentation, passion for quality service and ability to manage a variety of clients and events.
What we need from you
- If you have previous experience as Conference & Events Executive ready for the next step OR an existing C&E Sales Manager looking to expand your experience in a premium property, this could be the role for you
- Proven success in securing sales and maximising revenue with the C&E industry
- Have an eye for detail and a good understanding of hotel, food and beverage operations
- Strong communication skills - written, verbal and listening
- Understanding of operational needs & functions
- Ability to work across multiple diversified business units or multiple projects
- Good working knowledge of local and national business event markets
- Understands the C&E industry dynamics, trends, and disciplines
- In-depth knowledge of Sales principles and selling techniques
- Strong organisational, written & communication skills, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritise workload & manage projects
- Available to work weekends if that is when your clients events are on
- You must meet the legal requirements to live & work in Australia
