Your new team
Our Group Risk function is led by managers who advocate for their people, are open and approachable, and who share their knowledge. Your new role
The Group Risk Executive Assistant provides professional administration support to the Group Executive and the Group Risk senior leadership team. This role will establish effective relationships with multiple executives and all Departmental “Heads of” to ensure all administrative matters are managed efficiently and to facilitate the smooth running of the team.
Key responsibilities will include;

  • Provide diary management support to Executive and senior leadership team
  • Provide a high level of effective and confidential administrative management support to the Group Executive and Group Risk senior leadership team and where appropriate, support other colleagues within the Group
  • Working with the Company Secretary to co-ordinate Risk and Compliance Committee meetings multiple times throughout the year, including liaising with the Committee Chair, creating the agenda, coordinating attendance, reviewing presented material and other tasks as required
  • Assist with the preparation, formatting and editing of department papers, presentations and reports
  • Assist with projects/tasks as required to ensure effective running of the team
  • Support senior members of the team with travel arrangements and approvals
  • Ensure a positive, professional approach towards all stakeholders, internal or external, to build rapport, build confidence and enhance the Fund’s overall reputation
  • Coordination of team events and activities
  • Support the financial management of the Group through invoice processing, raising purchase orders and assisting with credit card management for senior team members including monthly reconciliation
  • Contribute to the strength of the team by sharing information, working collaboratively, transferring skills and being supportive and flexible

What you’ll need
As the successful applicant you will have in-depth experience providing executive assistance to senior leaders in a growing and changing environment. With the ability to work under pressure, set and manage multiple conflicting priorities and meet specified timeframes and deadlines, you will possess strong problem-solving skills and initiative to remove obstacles.
With highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, you will have the ability to build rapport and work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels. In addition, you will bring;

  • Experience working in a financial services, professional services or similar environment (preferred)
  • Strong competency in the execution and understanding of Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate tasks and operate independently
  • Strong stakeholder relationship skills including the proven ability to initiate, maintain and develop relationships with peers, with the objective of gaining cooperation and meeting timelines for the delivery of advice
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; including proven experience in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues with discretion
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and trust across a range of matters
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a senior executive’s office and co-ordinate tasks, set priorities, and operate independently
  • Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated initiative to remove obstacles
